He is also a member of the European Society of International Law (ESIL), the Association for Comparative and European Public Law (DPCE), and the Internet Society (ISOC).A practicing lawyer since 2001—currently registered in the special roll for full-time university professors—he is admitted to practice before the higher courts (Supreme Court, Council of State, etc.).He is the author of three monographs and numerous scholarly contributions in the fields of international law and European Union law.He serves as a member of the evaluation group for legal journals under the Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes (ANVUR).
