Over the years he has held numerous positions both abroad and in Rome, thanks to which he reached the pinnacle of his career with the appointment, in 2010, of Ambassador of Italy. Among these he was Deputy Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the Republic, several times Head of Secretariat of Deputy Ministers and Undersecretaries for Foreign Affairs and Deputy Head of Ceremonial.
