In 2004 she studied French Language and French Journalism Language and Journalism at Sorbonne Nouvelle University. In 2006 she achieved the certificate of The procedures of journalism from Menéndez Pelayo International University. Later in 2011, she earned a postgraduate diploma in Digital Journalism. finally got her master’s in law and international Relations from Ortega y Gasset University in 2017. She took the first steps in her professional path in 2004 by being a contributor in AFP and later continued in El Economista, El Mundo, Tiempo, and M'Sur. Also, she worked as a correspondent for Grupo Reforma from 2007 to 2016. Markedly, she worked as Forbes’s and Newsweek's reporter for over 3 years. Additionally , she was a contributing author in EdjNet from 2018 to 2022. Notably, in 2016 she won the first prize for the best interview in association with Newsweek covering the troubles Samia Sleman Kamal a 16-year-old teenager went through to escape from Islamic state. Currently , she is contributor in Esglobal, freelance correspondent in El Confidencial and Proceso , co author in Mi Nombre es Refugiado, and reporter in FRANCE 24 and El Periódico.
