As part of his activities at the Ministry of Defense he held the position of Political Advisor (POLAD) at national commands and international missions.Since 2005 he has been at IGS \u2013 Institute for Global Studies, where he mainly deals with analysis of the political systems of countries in the Middle East and Africa area and where he directs the research program \u201cMediterranean, Africa and Middle East\u201d.Nicola Pedde teaches \u201cGeopolitics of Energy and the Environment\u201d at the Faculty of Political Sciences of Roma Tre, and has previously taught \u201cPolitics and Institutions of Middle Eastern countries\u201d and \u201cEconomics and Energy Policy\u201d at the University of Rome La Sapienza, the American University of Rome and John Cabot University.He has published numerous academic and popular articles, and written some monographs, including \u201cGeopolitics of Energy\u201d (Carocci, 2001) and \u201c1979-The Revolution in Iran\u201d (Rosemberg & Sellier, 2019)."}
