He is a member of the Italian Parliamentary Delegation to the NATO Assembly, where he holds the position of Vice-President of the Special Group for the Mediterranean and the Middle East (GSM). He is also president of the Italy-Germany Interparliamentary Friendship Group. Since January 2024, he has been rapporteur for the bill converting Decree Law No. 161\/2023, known as the \u201cMattei Plan\u201d.
