Maurizio Ambrosini is a professor of Sociology of Migration at the University of Milan. He has taught for several years at the University of Nice and since 2019 at the Italian branch of Stanford University. He is the scientific director of the Med\u00ec Study Center (Migrations in the Mediterranean) in Genoa, where he directs the magazine \u00abMondi migrant\u00bb and the Summer School of Sociology of Migrations. He collaborates with \u00abAvvenire\u00bb and with lavoce.info.
