His main focus is the macroeconomic transition to sustainable food systems and beyond, studying policies on food loss and waste, dietary changes and the circular and biobased economy. He works with the Computable Global General Equilibrium (CGE) MAGNET model (www.magnet-model.eu). He is an active member of the Global Trade Analysis Project (GTAP) community and contributes as an external consultant to the development of global satellite databases on nutrition and food loss and waste.
