Robynne Anderson is an international thought leader on food and agriculture with expertise in issues management and strategic development across the entire value chain. She and her firm Emerging ag provides the sectretariat to the International Agri-Food Network which represents 21 associations in the food system including more than 10,000 companies and a million farmers. In this role, she also serves the Private Sector Mechanism that represents agribusinesses at the UN Committee on World Food Security and led engagements in the UN Food Systems Summit. Among the key issues of work have included women in agriculture, governance of land tenure, responsible agricultural investments, attracting youth to agriculture, and the urgency for global sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2022, Robynne led the launch of a joint pilot Accelerator Mentorship Programme by FAO and the International Agri-Food Network (IAFN) to support women entrepreneurs grow their businesses. Robynne is also involved in her family\u2019s seed farm in Dugald, Manitoba, Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2017, Robynne became the youngest person inducted into the Canadian Agricultural Hall of Fame, one of the only 11 women in the Hall.
