He entered the judiciary in 1981 after an initial activity\u2019 as a lawyer, and\u2019 was a judge of the Court of Turin and then a public prosecutor in the same office, dealing mainly with crimes in tax and public administration matters, organized crime\u2019 and criminal execution. He was a member of the Judicial Council. He worked from 1996 to 2001 at the DG of the Judicial Organization of the Ministry of Justice, where he directed the Statistics Office and managed projects on computerization and organization of offices and collaborated in the reform of the single judge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Judge of appeal at the Office of the Maximum and Role of the Court of Cassation since July 2001, he was elected member of the CSM (2002-2006), dealing among other things with the reform of the OG, the organization of offices, the honorary judiciary, criminal execution and training, participating in the work of the European networks of higher councils and judicial schools. In the years 2006 and 2007 he was Project leader of the European Twinning project in support of the CSM of Albania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From 2007 to 2014 he was an advisor to the Court of Cassation, assigned to the section responsible for crimes in specialist matters (construction, urban planning, food, waste, tax violations and more) and therefore a member of the United Criminal Sections. From 1999 to 2012 he was part of mixed commissions and of the working group established by the CSM on the evaluation and measurement of judicial work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since 2014 \u201clegal advisor\u201d at the Permanent Representation of Italy to the United Nations in New York, he has been involved in the protection of human rights, the fight against transnational criminal phenomena and terrorism; he has curated projects on the protection of cultural heritage and access to justice and legal documentation and is a member of the “team” dedicated to the work of the Security Council.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":28993,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
