Fr. Paolo Salvatore Nicosia, SA, is a General Councilor of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement and the Congregation\u2019s Procurator General to the Holy See. He teaches Mediation and Conciliation in the Bachelor\u2019s Degree Program in Peace Studies at the Pontifical Lateran University, continuing an academic career that began in 2001 at the University of Pisa. Before entering religious life, he worked as a mediation expert and team leader on international projects in Serbia, Macedonia, Jordan, Ethiopia, and Kazakhstan. He founded two organizations specializing in training and consulting on alternative dispute resolution (ADR), serving for fifteen years as a mediator, trainer, and scientific director.
