Chief Technical Officer – Voicewise S.r.l.
Valerio Cesarini was born in Rome on 7 January 1995. Graduated with honors (Master’s Degree) in Electronic Engineering for Multimedia and Telecommunications, he is currently the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of Voicewise S.r.l. and the Director of the AI Department in Cloudwise S.r.l., while maintaining collaboration with the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” as an Assistant Professor and consultant.
He is an expert in Signal Processing and Machine Learning-based solutions for the treatment of audio signals, and in human voice analysis for the detection of pathologies and altered states. His expertise is outlined in more than 8 highly-regarded scientific publications with state-of-the-art results in the fields of Engineering, AI, and medicine, dealing with novel algorithms, datasets, and methodologies for voice analysis.
He took part in the HERMES Project funded by the European Space Agency (ESA) for the “vocal swab” for the detection of COVID-19 and is currently leading the R&D department in Voicewise S.r.l. for the deployment of highly advanced software and App-based solutions for automatic audio signal analysis.
