Since November 2018 he has been Senior Advisor to the President of Fincantieri S.p.A.

From 7 April 2015 to 14 November 2018 she was the Italian Ambassador in Hanoi.

From July 2010 to April 6, 2015 he served at the Permanent Mission of Italy to the United Nations in New York as First Counselor, Head of the Desk for Economic Development and Italian delegate to the Second Committee of the United Nations General Assembly. His assignments included negotiations to define the new sustainable development goals, the post-2015 development agenda and the new financing framework for development. Vice President and Rapporteur of the Bureau of the Second United Nations Conference on Landlocked Countries, she also coordinated the activities of the Bureau of the Second UN Committee during the Italian presidency of the organ.

In 2008-2010 at the Office of the Diplomatic Advisor of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, he oversaw relations with European countries, including EU member countries, and with international organizations (international financial institutions, OECD, UN and its Specialized Agencies).

From 2004 to 2008 at the Embassy of Italy in Washington DC she was the Ambassador’s Chief of Staff and coordinator of the preparations for the visits to the USA of any official Italian delegation.

From 2000 to 2004 she was Head of the Economics and Commerce Office of the Italian Embassy in Prague. One of its main tasks was to provide support to Italian companies interested in the privatization of state-owned enterprises, particularly in the banking and energy sectors.
From 1996 to 2000 he served in the Directorate General for Economic Affairs of the Office in charge of relations with international financial institutions and other important multilateral economic and commercial institutions (OECD, ECOSOC, UNCTAD).

Before entering diplomatic service, he worked in the economic and financial sector at the World Bank and at a leading Italian bank.
