Head of Skills Office for NATO, MAECI

Councilor Fabio Rugge is Head of the ISPI Cybersecurity Center, in collaboration with Leonardo.

He is a diplomat who currently works as Head of the Office responsible for NATO and Security and Politico-Military Matters, Directorate General for Political Affairs and Security, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

From 2012 to 2016 he worked at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and previously was Counselor at the Italian Delegation at the North Atlantic Council in Brussels and Consul General of Italy in Mumbai (India). He has held various positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Rome – among others at the Policy Planning Unit and as Head of the Office in charge of scholarships and internationalization of Italian universities.

Graduated with honors from the Catholic University of Milan, he obtained a Master’s degree from ISPI in International Relations and a Diploma of European Studies from the Université des Sciences Sociales de Toulouse (France).
