Federica Calvetti

Background

Head of ESG & Strategic Activism of Eurizon Capital SGR.

She graduated in Economics of Institutions and Financial Markets at the Luigi Bocconi University of Milan in 2004 and in the same year she began her career in London at Deutsche Bank AG, after a brief experience in Credit Suisse First Boston in 2003.

At Deutsche Bank she joins the Debt Capital Markets team and deals with financing solutions for corporate clients and the public sector in Italy. Over the years you have originated and structured some of the largest and most innovative bond issues in Italy.

In 2017 she adds to her responsibilities the role of coordinator of the origination activities of the so-called “green bonds” for the EMEA area and in 2020 she becomes responsible for ESG dialogue for the same area, maintaining the main focus on corporate customers.

During your career you have participated in the working groups of the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA) on Sustainability-Linked debt instruments and in the Task Force created by the UK Oil & Gas Authority on transparency and reporting for investors.

After a long experience abroad, she returns to Italy for Deutsche Bank at the beginning of 2020. Since July 2021 she has held the role of Head of ESG & Strategic Activism and coordinates Eurizon’s Corporate Governance and Sustainability activities.
