Professor at the Department of Political Science at the Roma TRE University
Federico Roberto Antonelli (1974) is adjunct professor of comparative private law and history of East Asia at the University of Roma TRE. He is also the holder of the teaching of The Chinese Legal System at the Department of Law of the University of Macerata.
Graduated in Political Science and Law, he also obtained the title of PhD in Comparative Private Law and Private Law of the European Union at the University of Macerata and completed a postdoctoral degree at the University of Peking. He has published numerous essays on contemporary Chinese law and history. For more than ten years he has been Of Counsel for international law and tax firms, assisting Italian and Chinese companies in investment and arbitration projects.
From 2011 to 2019, as an Expert pursuant to art. 168 of Presidential Decree 18/1967, he held the position of Legal Attaché at the Italian Embassy in Beijing. He was recently designated to hold the position of Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Beijing.
