Nicoletta Dentico, journalist and writer, is a global health expert. You coordinated the Campaign for the Banning of Mines in Italy and then directed Doctors Without Borders (MSF), promoting mobilization on access to essential medicines and starting MSF projects on migrants in southern Italy. You have worked in Geneva with MSF, with the Drugs for Neglected Diseases Initiative (DNDi) and with the World Health Organization (WHO).
From 2013 to 2019 she was a member of the board of directors of Banca Popolare Etica and vice president of the Ethical Finance Foundation.
Today she directs the Society for International Development’s global health program.
You are the author of numerous publications on development and human rights, have you recently published Ricchi e Buoni? The dark plots of philanthrocapitalism (EMI 2020) and Geopolitics of Health: COVID-19, WHO and the Pandemic Challenge (Rubbettino, 2021).
