Valeria Talbot is Senior Research Fellow and Head of ISPI’s Middle East and North Africa Centre. She is also a lecturer at the Master in Middle Eastern Studies of ASERI – Università Cattolica and at IULM University in Milan. She was ISPI’s scientific coordinator of Arab Trans, a research project funded by FP7 on political and social transformations in the Arab world after the 2010-2011 Arab uprisings. She was scientific coordinator of the Med and Gulf Executive Briefings project, aimed at advising the business community on economic opportunities in MENA countries. From 2007 to 2012, she was associate editor of ISPI’s journal Quaderni di Relazioni Internazionali. In addition, Talbot is a member of the scientific committee of Med Think 5+5 and liason officer of EuroMeSCo.
