Katarzyna Szaran – Deputy Director of the Department for Strategic Communications and Countering Foreign Disinformation of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Katarzyna Szaran is a strategic communications expert with extensive experience in media relations and management of digital and PR campaigns. As Deputy Director of the Department for Strategic Communications and Countering Foreign Disinformation of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she is responsible for developing the StratCom unit and coordinating national and international efforts to counter foreign information manipulation and interference (FIMI). Previously, she was Deputy Director of the MFA Press Office, spokesperson for the Polish Embassy in the UK and also worked at the Government Information Centre in the Prime Minister’s Office.
