Cristina Costarelli has been headmistress of ITIS Galilei in Rome since September 2024, having held the same position since 2018 at the Newton scientific high school and since 2014 at IC Rita Levi Montalcini, also in Rome. Previously, she was a primary school teacher for over 20 years. In addition, she has been president of ANP Lazio (National Association of Headmasters) since July 2021. The world of education has therefore always been her field of activity, maintaining a clear primary objective, both as a teacher and as a headteacher, of ensuring the best results in her work in terms of the education and training of pupils and students aged between 3 and 19. Her commitment to education often leads her to appear in the press and on TV/radio networks to offer direct and realistic insights. Since 2018, she has been working as a trainer, again in the field of education, on various topics: assessment of learning and skills, inclusion, PNRR, new orientation, and artificial intelligence in schools, as well as specific training for school administrators. She also writes articles on these topics for specialist magazines. In terms of personal training, in addition to her degree in philosophy, she obtained a diploma in piano from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory, followed by further specialization courses.
