Deborah Castellano Lubov

Deborah Castellano Lubov is correspondent and vaticanista of Vatican News – Vatican Radio’s English section. She is co-author of Vatican media’s ‘Leo from Chicago’ documentary on Pope Leo’s American roots, including in-depth interviews with the Pope’s brothers. Having been working in Rome as vaticanista since 2014, she frequently covered various Papal Journeys, from the papal flight, including those to Abu Dhabi, Japan and Thailand, and on the ground. She also wrote a book, now in five languages, on Pope Francis, featuring the preface of Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin, and interviews with those close to the late Pope. Lubov also had personally presented another reportage to the late Pope Benedict XVI. Having been longtime Vatican contributor to NBC and MSNBC,  she has done various television and radio commentaries for the network, as well as for many other international media, including Sky, BBC, and Euronews.
