Camille Lons is Deputy Director of the Paris office and Policy Fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR), where she focuses on geoeconomics and relations between China and the Gulf countries, European politics, and French politics. Previously, she worked as a research associate at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in Bahrain and Taiwan, focusing on relations between the Gulf and Asia. She was also Coordinator of the ECFR’s Middle East and North Africa Program, and previously a Schuman Fellow at the European Parliament, where she worked on Middle East policy.
Lons holds a master’s degree in population and development from the London School of Economics, a master’s degree in international relations from Sciences Po Aix, and a master’s degree in Middle Eastern studies from Aix-Marseille University.
