Born in Rome on 29 October 1979, graduated in political science from the University of Roma Tre, she joined the editorial staff of Formiche in 2010. She became a professional journalist in March 2011. Since July 2012 she has been editor-in-chief of Formiche magazine, as well as being director of Airpress, the aerospace and defense magazine that Luigi Abete has entrusted to Paolo Messa, thus increasing his share of the company from 10 to 30% in Base by Height.
Before Formiche, Flavia Giacobbe collaborated for years with the newspaper Il Tempo and until 2010 she was a television journalist for the broadcaster Odeon TV. Previously, she also collaborated with ‘Finestra Italia’, a political program hosted by Nuccio Fava.
