Massimo Deandreis, President of GEI from May 2016 to June 2023, is an executive at Intesa Sanpaolo, where he serves as General Manager of SRM (a research center affiliated with the banking group). He is an adjunct professor of Business Economics and Management at the Department of Management at the University of Turin. Previously, he was General Manager of the Chambers of Commerce of Piedmont and headed their Brussels office, a city where he lived for five years. He has collaborated with the OECD—as a member of the Working Party on Entrepreneurship and SMEs—and is the author or co-author of numerous publications on business economics.
