Raffaele Marchetti is Deputy Rector for Internationalization and Professor in International Relations at the Department of Political Science and the School of Government of LUISS Guido Carli. He graduated in Philosophy at the Sapienza University of Rome and took a PhD in Government at the London School of Economics. Throughout his career, he has been visiting professor at the most prestigious universities in the world, such as Sciences Po-Paris, London School of Economics, China Foreign Affairs University in Beijing and Freie Universität in Berlin. His numerous publications concern the themes of global politics and global governance, transnational civil society, cybersecurity, city diplomacy and democracy.
