Lorenzo Pagani is a Senior Analyst at Orizzonti Politici, where he specialises in international security, defence and new technologies, with a particular focus on their strategic and geopolitical implications.
He holds a degree in International Studies from the University of Trento, with a dissertation on the evolution of the European collective security system and Italy’s contribution to European Union peacekeeping missions. He is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Transnational Governance at the School of Transnational Governance of the European University Institute (EUI), where he focuses on European security, defence, the defence industry and international governance.
He has gained experience in the security and defence sector through research and policy analysis at GLOBSEC, focusing on NATO, military readiness, air and missile defence, and European industrial capabilities. He has also conducted research on nuclear non-proliferation, arms control and space security.
