Morocco is a country with a well-defined role in the Mediterranean basin and in the African continent, above all thanks to its stability and strategic vision. The institutional and economic system has favored proximity to Europe, enhancing the availability of an insurance and banking system rooted and widespread in the main countries of central and sub-Saharan Africa. Sectors of significant attractiveness for companies are agri-food, infrastructure, automotive and renewable sources, also in consideration of the exceptional wind and solar potential, which has led Morocco to develop a strategy that aims to generate 52 per cent by 2030 the consumption of electricity from renewable sources. Of great importance is the strength of the logistics system, which, due to the high standards of the infrastructure network and ports, lays the foundations for commercial operations aimed at the rest of the continent.
