If on one hand social media have considerably expanded online communication and so the opinion exchange in the web, on the other hand aggressive and divisive messages are increasingly growing with misinformation. For these reasons we need to talk about hate speech and fake news as critical issues which are influencing more and more dynamics of communication and dissemination of news online. This is why debunking is so important and we should think to strengthen the culture of fact-checking. Will the future be free from hate speech and misinformation?
