The Russian-Ukrainian conflict also had unexpected repercussions on the Middle East and North Africa. For some time, in fact, huge military, economic and diplomatic resources have been invested in those areas, so as to avoid an international isolation that would undermine the stability of the country. The importance of food supplies also weighs on the picture, which in recent months have already put the strength of some governments to the test.
