Workshop with the aim of introducing children to the world of intercultural relations and the concept of protecting freedom through the metaphor of kites, a symbol of important values that can guide processes of mutual understanding and respect: freedom, art, community, participation. During the first day, the students who will participate in the workshop will be guided by the “Alta Quota” kite association in the construction of a kite. During the workshop dedicated to children, participants will learn how to build a kite on which laws or values of the EU and other countries that refer to a social and community vision of freedom, art and culture will be transcribed (eg. “L ‘Art and Science are free and their Teaching is free ”Art. 33 of the Italian Constitution). The intervention of the association will be assisted by the presence of volunteers who are part of the organizational team of the Diplomacy Festival who will also guide them in the selection of the phrases to be included on the kites.
