The meeting “Italy in / and Latin America”, aims to reaffirm the historical link and the legacy of an ancient and important migration, but also to highlight how, probably, our country, and more generally Europe , they looked more to Asia than to the Latin American continent. A “long-distance relationship” which in the eyes of the countries overseas Atlantic does not find great explanations and sometimes even provokes unfavorable reactions.
To introduce will be prof. Tiziana di Maio, associate of the history of international relations. The students of the Cenacolo of diplomatic and international studies and of the degree courses in Communication Sciences and International Relations of LUMSA will participate in the meeting and animate the debate.
