In the last years, International Development faced major changes on social, economic, environmental and geopolitical issues. This is why development projects and initiatives are increasingly significant for Italian foreign policy, the promotion of sustainable goals and what can be necessary to improve living conditions of populations suffering poverty and food insecurity. In this context, Italian Regions and Local Authorities aim to promote important partnership in the countries receiving assistance and projects. A peculiarity of these initiatives is the search for an effective collaboration with local administrations and the several local actors such as business enterprises and the civil society.
