Tomorrow’s Economy

When the waves of innovation bring society to the brink of change, those who will suffer the most from it rarely fail to understand the speed with which the existing will become obsolete. Today we live in a world populated by over seven billion people, most of them looking for work. But on a planet that has a limited amount of what scientists call resources and sources, or in more general terms, of raw materials, from the point of view of the economy it makes sense to innovate to optimize the productivity and efficiency of resources.
The goal of a sustainable economy at a global level points to growth models with a focus on investments in renewables, social productivity and gender equality. It will be a credible and decisive agenda, with the right policies and the support of citizens involved, to guide nations towards reform processes that will make the economy of tomorrow more just and healthier.
