The United Arab Emirates’ Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has presented the Italian Embassy with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ “Excellence” award in recognition of its work over the past year.
Ambassador Lorenzo Fanara expressed his gratitude for the honor—the second such recognition received in the last two years—and for the effective collaboration with Emirati diplomatic counterparts.
The Ambassador emphasized that the award confirms the excellent state of bilateral relations and reflects the collective efforts of the Italian government and other national institutions, alongside the hundreds of Italian companies and the 22,000 Italian citizens currently active in the Emirates.
