Martino Lombezzi and Jorie Horsthuis are the authors of the photographic project “Resolution 808 – La Guerra a Processo”, which will be presented at the Modena Philosophy Festival on 16 September at 6 pm, in the Sala del Leccio of the San Paolo Complex. The exhibition was organized in collaboration with Babelia & C. – cultural projects and the Balkans of Europe – Lo Specchio di noi.
The project, in a combination of photographs and journalistic reportage, focuses on the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, the first episode after Nuremberg that saw individuals judged for war crimes, from ordinary soldiers to heads of state, a place where the recent history of the Balkans has been rewritten.
The project, in its first version, was presented on the occasion of the ninth edition of the Diplomacy Festival in 2018 in Rome, in the spaces of Officine Fotografiche.
