“What is Europe to you?” is the evolving photographic narration of the artist Lisa Borgiani who since 2019 has begun to travel to the main European cities and capitals asking each inhabitant portrayed a question: “What is Europe for you?”. A photographic journey that arises from the author’s own need to understand what Europe means to people and which has been transformed into an exhibition set up in the Space Experience Europe – David Sassoli, scheduled from September 6th to October 14th, 2023. The exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Italian Office of the European Parliament and the Italian Representation of the European Commission.
Wednesday September 6th, at 6pm the exhibition will open with a talk in which the director of the European Parliament Office in Italy, Carlo Corazza and the Head of the Representation in Italy of the European Commission, the author of the project, some contemporary art experts and testimonials will be present artist met and portrayed. On this occasion it will be possible to participate in the project by publishing one’s self-portrait and feeling, thus becoming part of the work: www.whatseurope.eu
