Corneliu Bjola has been an associate professor in Diplomatic Studies at the University of Oxford since 2010. He earned his PhD in political science in 2007 from the University of Toronto. Importantly he edited or authored six books such as The Dark Side of Digital Diplomacy which has been listed in the 20 Best New International Relations Books To Read In 2019. His work has been featured in many significant academic journals including the European Journal of International Relations and the Review of International Studies. Additionally, he is co-editor of the book series on ‘New Diplomatic Studies’ with Routledge, and Editor-in-Chief of the new journal Diplomacy and Foreign Policy. Remarkably, he received the award of OxTALENT in 2014 for enhancing students’ learning experience using social media apps.
