Daniele Fiorentino

Professor, Roma Tre University


He was director of the Centro Studi Americani in Rome Between 1995 and 2002. Since 2017 he has been Director of the CISPEA (Inter-University Centre for Euro-American History and Politics). He is Professor of History of the United States of America at the University of Roma Tre, where he is currently Director of the Department of Political Science. He deals with the relations between Italy and the United States between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. He devoted much of his research to the history of American Indians and the politics of the United States in the American West. Among his many publications his book Gli Stati Uniti e il Risorgimento d’Italia, 1848-1901, Roma, Gangemi, 2013.
