Davide Dionisi

Journalist and spokesperson for Vice Premier Antonio Tajani

Born in Rome in 1967, he graduated in Modern Literature (at La Sapienza, Rome) and obtained a Master’s degree in Digital Journalism at the Pontifical Lateran University. As professional journalist, he coordinated Benedict XVI’s trips to Valencia, Monaco, Sao Paulo and Aparecida (Brazil), Vienna, Paris and Lourdes, Luanda (Angola), Madrid (World Youth Day) for Vatican Radio. He was also sent to Seoul for a report on the Korean Church and coordinated Pope Francis’ trip to South Korea. He prepared Pope Francis’ trip to Yerevan and Gyumri (Armenia). He writes for L’Osservatore Romano in the column “Field hospital” (Stories from prison) and was responsible for Vatican News Service. Creator and host of the radio program “Il Gospel Inside” as well as of the radio program “I Cellanti” (weekly program about and from prison live on Vatican Radio).
