Domenico Perri

Calabrian by birth and adopted by Rieti, signed for over 25 years at the CAI of Antrodoco, he is mountaineer, climber, ski mountaineer and mountain biker. He climbed all the main walls and some of the most important climbing routes of the Gran Sasso and the central Apennines, as well as the Dolomites and the entire alpine arc. Between 1995 and 2014 he made numerous expeditions to various countries of the world, in Argentina the crossing of the Hielo Continental (Patagonia, 1997) and the Aconcagua in 2004, in Africa on Kilimanjaro (with the CAI Rieti), in the Indian Himalayas with the late lamented Roberto Iannilli and in Karakorum in 2011 and 2014 (climbing of Gondogoro Peak, 5864 m.). In the Himalayas and Karakorum he returned in 2018 and 2022, even in winter, reaching altitudes over six thousand meters. Publicist and popularizer, he collaborated as correspondent for Planet Mountain, one of the most known websites about mountain. As a psychologist, for many years he has been a Healthcare executive in the NHS in medical services for the developmental age.
