During his term of office, he is a member of the Defence Committee and the Committee on Foreign and European Affairs of the Chamber of Deputies, a role he also holds.
He is a member of the Italian Delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, where he serves as Vice-Chair of the Committee on Counter-Terrorism. In this role, he tabled a resolution on artificial intelligence and the fight against terrorism, calling on participating States to strengthen their national legal frameworks to regulate the development, deployment and use of artificial intelligence technologies, with a view to preventing their use by terrorist and violent extremist organisations, whilst respecting human rights, fundamental freedoms, privacy and data protection standards, in accordance with United Nations and European Union standards, including the European legislation on artificial intelligence (EU AI Act).
He is Chair of the Italy–Poland Bilateral Parliamentary Friendship Group, within which he carries out parliamentary diplomacy aimed at strengthening cooperation between Italy and Poland in the cultural, scientific, academic and commercial sectors.
