Francesco Battaglia is an associate professor of European Union Law in the Department of Political Science at the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’, where he teaches European Union Law and Institutions and European Union Law and Policies. He is Jean Monnet Chair 2024/2027, with a project entitled “Digital Rights Empowerment Across Market in the European Union (DREAM-EU)”. He is the author of numerous publications on European Union law, including a monograph on the European Ombudsman and one on the digital consumer in European Union law.
