Gabriele Natalizia is an associate professor of Political Science (qualified to serve as a full professor) in the Department of Political Science at Sapienza University of Rome, where he is a member of the Doctoral Board in Political Studies. He is the scientific director of the Geopolitica.info Research Center (www.geopolitica.info), which he founded in 2004. He is a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council (Washington, D.C.), where he is affiliated with the Europe Center, and a Research Fellow at the European Union Center of National Taiwan University in Taipei.
Since 2015, he has taught the “International Organizations” module in the Joint Staff College (ISSMI) program at the Center for Advanced Defense Studies (CASD). Since 2021, he has collaborated with the Observatory on International Politics of the Parliament and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), as well as with the MAECI’s Unit for Analysis, Planning, Statistics, and Documentation. Since 2026, he has served as Scientific Director of the CASD’s master’s program “Security and Defense Policies: Toward a National Security Strategy.”
