Gaetano Cortese, diplomat, director and founder of the Carlo Colombo Publisher Series in Rome.
Ambassador of Italy to the Kingdom of Belgium from 1999 to 2003 and, subsequently, Ambassador of Italy to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, in the span of a very honored and important career he served at the Italian Embassies in Zagreb, Bern, Havana, Washington and to the Permanent Representation of Italy to the European Union in Brussels, as Minister Counselor. From 1992 to 1999 he held the position of Deputy Advisor for Information and the Press to the President of the Republic.
He is the author of legal texts and numerous articles on community and international law published when in Paris he was Docteur de l’Université de Paris en Droit International of the Faculty of Law of the Sorbonne, governed by Professor Charles Rousseau.
