Giada Zampano has her bachelor’s degree in political science with a focus on international politics from the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa. Subsequently , she participated in a two-year training program at RAI Journalism School and finally, she earned a master’s in science of journalism from Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University having a Fulbright scholarship. She initiated her career path in 1997 by being an intern at ANSA. Likewise, she was an intern at RAI and IL SOLE 24. In 1998 she started to work in Medill News Service as a beat journalist for over a year and a Washington correspondent for 4 months. Afterwards, she became a reporter for Reuters for almost 7 years broadcasting international events. Thereafter, occupied as a telecoms and media correspondent at Dow Jones. Later she embarked on her occupation in the Wall Street Journal producing news, pictures, and feature videos for more than 8 years. Eventually, she became a freelance writer in POLITICO Europe for more than 2 years. After, she continued to be a freelance writer in Wine Enthusiast for 2 years and half. Followingly, she did freelance reporting for MNI for 4 months in favor of being media relations manager at Italy Expo 2020 for a year. Meanwhile, she was working as a freelance reporter in The Telegraph for almost 4 years. Currently, she is a freelance writer for Internazionale and Financial Times, a freelance reporter for Anadolu Agency and The Associated Press, and a Regular Commentator for BBC News.
