Giulia Ferraro works on issues related to peacebuilding, international mediation, and institutional relations, with a particular focus on fostering dialogue and partnerships among institutions, the diplomatic community, civil society, and the private sector. She has gained experience in international organizations and multilateral contexts in Rome, Geneva, and various other countries, working on inclusive peace processes, Women, Peace, and Security, governance, and stakeholder engagement.
She is the representative of the Institute for Economics & Peace for Italy, the Vatican, and Switzerland, and a co-founder of the Italian Network for International Mediation. She is a member of the Mediterranean Women Mediators Network and the Scientific Committee of the International Diplomatic Institute. Previously, she held positions at the Association for Inclusive Peace, the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, and UN OCHA.
