Hannah Knuth was born in Hamburg in 1993. She studied literature and politics in Berlin and London. This was followed by training in Munich at the German School of Journalism. Since graduating in 2018, she has been working at ZEIT, initially as an editor in the opportunities education department. She has been an editor in the economics department since November 2019, where she reports, among other things, on abuses in the media industry and greenwashing in organizations and companies. “Medium Magazine” chose her as one of the top 30 to 30 journalists in 2021. For her work she was awarded the Helmut Schmidt Young Talent Prize and the Helmut Schmidt Journalist Prize, among others.
