Laura Tassinari is an Italian engineer and an expert in innovation, entrepreneurship, technology transfer and internationalisation. She graduated in Civil and Construction Engineering from “La Sapienza” University in Rome and has gained extensive professional experience in the fields of innovation policy, business development and regional economic development.
She has held senior positions within the Lazio regional innovation system, including Director-General of BIC Lazio and Director-General of FILAS, contributing to the implementation of programmes supporting start-ups, innovative SMEs, technology transfer and women’s entrepreneurship. She currently serves as Director of the Internationalisation, Clusters and Research Division at Lazio Innova, where she is responsible for strengthening the international competitiveness of businesses and promoting cooperation between companies, research institutes
and international partners.
Her areas of expertise include open innovation, digital technologies, entrepreneurship, internationalisation and the development of regional innovation ecosystems.
