Director General for Italian Citizens Abroad and Migration Policies
Born in Rome, in a diplomatic career since 1989. He has held, among others, the positions of coordinator for the Italian Representation at the European Union in Brussels, Consul General in Jeddah, Head of the Competition Office and Head of Coordination of the General Secretariat. After having dealt with the promotion of international sporting events and having carried out the delicate task of Independent Assessment Body of the Ministry, at the beginning of 2016 he was appointed Central Director for migration and visa issues. Since 31 May 2017 he has been General Manager for Italians Abroad and Migration Policies. From 2018 also President of the Foreign Club of Rome.
