Appointed General Secretary of the Central Apennines District Basin Authority with Prime Ministerial Decree of 25 August 2022 admitted to registration by the Court of Auditors on 30 September 2022.Graduated in Environmental and Territorial Engineering cum laude and PhD in Environmental Engineering, associate professor in Architectural Technology at Sapienza University of Rome and qualified full professor. Member of the Scientific Technical Committee on Sustainability of Sapienza University of Rome, he is a teacher at the National School of Administration (SNA) – Presidency of the Council of Ministers and a member of the interregional working group for sustainable construction at the Institute for procurement innovation and transparency and environmental compatibility” (ITACA).Former member of the “Technical Committee for the evaluation of real estate estimates” of the Bank of Italy and member of the Technical Support Unit for the EEC Eco-management and Audit activities – EMAS of the National Agency for Environmental Protection, from 2006 to 2007 he was CEO of Etruria Servizi SpA, an urban hygiene services company owned by the Municipality of Civitavecchia. Manager or scientific coordinator of numerous projects of national and international importance in the field of green building and smart cities, including the creation of the Regional System of Certification and Accreditation of the Environmental Energy Sustainability of Buildings – ITACA Protocol Lazio Region and the preparation of the Action Plan for Sustainable Energy of Rome Capital – SEAP.Scientific director of the Ponte magazine, published by DEI, and member of the editorial committee of numerous international scientific journals, he is the author of over 80 scientific publications, including 10 monographs including Construction 4.0.
