Mattia Diletti works at the Department of Communication and Social Research (Coris) at Sapienza University of Rome. He studies the American political system and the relationship between intellectuals, experts and politics. He coordinates the SPAm (American Society and Politics) observatory. In 2023, he published the book Politica e intellettuali. Ideologi, esperti, think tank (Politics and Intellectuals: Ideologues, Experts, Think Tanks) (Mondadori); in 2024, he published the book Divisi. Società, politica e conflitti nell’America del XXI secolo (Divided: Society, Politics and Conflicts in 21st-Century America) (Treccani libri).
